Bow String

Postby ShadowSword » Wed Apr 25, 2012 5:40 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy a bow string for my bow without having to travel to Mordor?

Do you know what length you need? Measure loop-end to loop-end. I have one that may work . I can bring it next week.

Edit: Don't bother with Big 5. I am fairly sure they wont have it.

59 inches to be exact. Would it work for it being 35 lb draw?

Wow, really? from one measurement we should know poundage? Sorry, you need to take the bow to an archery shop. If you are in the Sacramento area we have one out in Rocklin and if you get the bow to me, I'll take it out there to be strung or at least find out if it can strung to 35# or less.

I think he was asking if the string would work for a 35 pound bow, not if the bow was 35 pounds.

Also, the only archery shop I know of in the area is backroom archery. I'll ask my dad if he has an update on his extra bow string.

Thank you everyone for your input but I already went ahead of Thor and went to backdoor archery to get my now new bow string.
