I'm for it. Maybe some lands will start having some variety in their votes for once, instead of block voting.

Written ballots will never defeat brow beating. :P

Really, this is common sense. If you have a monarch who is pushing for open voting like that and attempting to influence the land then you have a bad monarch. Vote the sucker out and move on. :)

For your voting pleasure, I now have available a ballot for May's Althing and Summer '09 Election!

Official Ballot

Note about the ballot: Currently there is no election for the open seat(s)(we still have the alternate position open, if I recall) on the BoD. There was only one declaration (2.0) and due to an oversight and lack of foresight from several parties involved (myself included) 2.0 is currently ineligible to run for a seat on the BoD.

I am working to see if we can resolve this before the Althing, so please pay attention to this space for further updates.

As stated in the Westmarch BOD thread, 2.0 has rescinded his bid for a BoD seat and stated the reason behind it. So poke this ballot with a fork, it's do-

no wait, there's something fishy going on with it.

Confidence - Smells of Fish - Abstain

LOL. I kill myself sometimes. Wish I noticed I left that in there before I uploaded it though. How embarrassing. Fixed. Everything's good with the ballot now.

So there you have it. Election results.

I hear all the major news programs called the election won by Saturday night, but I bring you the official totals.

With 38 for, 4 against, and 2 saying, "Meh," Sir Keluric is now Prince-Elect Sir Keluric.

39 said yes, 2 said no, and 3 said, "Eh." As such, Reagent Squire Gwendair retains her position as Reagent.

It's official, 42 members of Westmarch think Squire Deimos does not "smell of fish" and will allow him to become Champion.

From the reeves' corner: 28 reeves called him live, none call him dead, and 2 abstained from making a call. MaA Xiaho will become our next Guildmaster of Reeves. Hope you enjoy writing tests.
