I agree that we aligned the events as a way to foster travel and relationship creation between the groups. To me it just makes sense to have a big event all together and maybe we could do the Shire and Barony courts Friday night or early Saturday and the Duchy and principality courts after feast on Saturday night.

That would work too. I don't really have an opinion about it, I was more just tossing out some things I see.

I think it is more important to have all of the lands engaged enough to want to coordinate events together. While it can present a logistics issue, one of the reasons for Westmarch is to promote cooperation between the groups.

Basically, though, I just want to determine whether there is enough support and benefit to rotate the reigns to make Dardshore a coronation event and whether it would facilitate a stronger bond between WM and the lands which comprise Westmarch.

i just want to start the Planar War quests that month, in crimson wood. is there anything else going on that month? im trying to get actual dates for people but i dont have a calender

From a completely irrelevant OPD perspective, having a reign go from May to November, means having one that is less likely to conflict with major events held in other places. You would get more traffic from outlanders at your coronations if that were the case.

It occurs to me that if we wanted an event that would attract Outlanders, we should hold it during the winter, and the further south the better.
