I believe Taly and eR have offered their ranch for Event Use on at least one occasion. I don't know how the timing would work into their ranch's schedule though.

That'd be in the Santa Barbra area IIRC. A bit north of LA, but far enough south to be noticeably warmer than the bay area. That ought to be enticing for the northern half of the US. GETTING HERE will still be an issue, but at least they'll really want to.

And we southerners could use an event of our own. Not saying I want to run it or anything, but I'd be willing to chip in.
