The last event in the Warmaster tournament will be selected by the player who is leading the score from the previous 4 events. They will have their choice between the top 5 voted responses in this poll.

Please leave a comment with an event that you would like included in the poll. Please be descriptive in what you are suggestion if it is more complex than just listing an equipment set, such as " Short sword and shield". If your suggestion is too similar to another that is already posted, it might be combined with that one. No more than 3 suggested formats per person.

I will add the suggested event to the above poll. Suggestions may only be given until September 30. Voting will then take place October 1 through October 31.

Grand Melee

Grand Melee

All fighters will be divided into two teams.  These teams will clash in a single-life team deathmatch.  All members of the winning team progress into the next round, where they will be divided again into two teams and fight in a single-life team deathmatch.  Continue this process until there are five or fewer fighters, at which point they shall fight in an open melee free-for-all until only one remains.  Placement shall be decided as the last fighter remaining shall take 1st, the second to last shall take second, and the third to last survivor shall take third.  In the case of a simo, resulting in it being unclear the order of death for the determination of placement, the fighters in question shall fight in a best-of-one open melee fight.

Reeves’ Test “From Hell”

Reeves' test “From Hell”

The Champion will make available a closed-book Reeves’ test “from hell” about the current version of the rules of play.  All participants will have 20 minutes to complete the test.  The top three shall be determined by those with the highest score on the tests, with ties being broken by who completed the test the fastest.

Archer duels

1. Noble Duel of the Archers: two archers start 50 feet apart and shoot at each other. If only one successfully wounds the other, they win. If they are both successful, they each move back 5 feet and try again. If they are both unsuccessful, they move 5 feet closer and try again. Once in position, the archers can dodge but their feet cannot be moved. The arrows must be loosed in a reasonably short amount of time (about 30 seconds), to prevent stalling.

2. Frenzied Duel of the Archers: Two archers begin about 30 feet apart, with a set number of arrows each (about 5) and a time limit (about 2 minutes). First to hit the other wins. Either may move freely. If neither succeed, then they both lose.

3. Single Shot Small Shield Squire Situation (6S): Two archers start about 50ft apart, each with a single arrow. Each archer has a squire with a small shield. Only the squire may pick up only their own team's arrow off the ground, but all may move freely. First to wound the other archer wins.
