Feast of Goblins

Welcome to Westmarch’s premier camp-out event, the Feast of Gods. This year, the festival grounds have been overtaken by many different Goblin tribes, each bringing their own unique gods to worship and make sacrifices to! With games, competitions, crafting classes and a particularly challenging puzzle waiting to be solved, it is sure to feature something for all to enjoy!

This is a Thursday-Sunday event located at the Bolado Park Event Center in Tres Pinos, CA. This comfortable fairgrounds is close to city amenities like hotels, and also features camping with flush toilets and hot-water shower stalls. Full-kitchens and indoor/outdoor seating allow for comfortable meal options regardless of the weather, though average weather patterns for the area expect no rain, highs of 75F and lows of 45F.

You can expect full-class battlegaming from Thursday afternoon into Saturday morning before the highlight of the event begins Saturday after lunch: The Gladiatorial Feast Games! These games will split players into 6 teams that all have matching jerseys and standardized weapons color-coded to each team, which will then compete in a variety of militia-style combat minigames for the full afternoon. Should there be any inclement weather, these events may shift to earlier or later to accommodate whatever works best.

In a departure from earlier versions of these games, this year each team will represent a different goblin tribe attempting to appease and gain favor from their desired gods. Players on each team represent either foolishly willing, or unluckily unwilling sacrifices whose combat sports will be worthy sacrifices to each god. Throughout the event there will be opportunities to increase your chances of being sorted into specific teams if you desire. 

Will you be sorted into the Haemogoblins, who desire bloodshed and limb-wounds over torso killshots? Perhaps you will find yourself favoring certain goblin tendencies and end up on the Gobgob Linlin’s, the most goblinest of all tribes. Or will you splurge for a VIP ticket to guarantee yourself a slot on the Shinies, the team most desiring of collecting all of the valuables. These and more teams await! Even if you don’t fight, the spectators and fans cheering on the festivities will be in for a treat as the various teams fight to both win the games and champion their specific beliefs.

After the games conclude, participants will take turns selecting prizes from the illustrious Prize Table. Selection order will be influenced by both team performance and individual contributions to their tribe's ideals. However, the Feast of Goblins is first and foremost about fun rather than fierce competition, so expect a healthy dose of luck, chaos, and goblin mischief to play a role in determining who walks away with what.
